Buffets, buying vitamins, and riding motorized carts — this is what old people do on Sundays when they’re not hanging out with their kids, right? 😅 Took a week off from church and did our “Sunday circuit” in West Ashley instead of Mount Pleasant. Started with the hot bar at Edmond’s Original Downtown, which I realized is basically the English version of a Sunday roast — prime rib, all the sides, and total buffet nostalgia for my 80s/90s heart. It’s tucked right next to Pelato, the new Italian spot, and on our way across town to West Ashley we laid eyes on the new rooftop Italian restaurant @Allora on Spring Street — Charleston’s got some good new places popping up. Then it was on to Whole Foods, Target, and Costco, where I finally found those crystal-looking Magnolia Hearth & Hand Christmas tree ornaments I’ve been hunting for — pure joy! 🎄✨ Being in your 50s is funny. You’re not young anymore, but you’re not old either. You start noticing how life shifts — your routines, your pace, your sense of who you are on a quiet Sunday. Still figuring it out, one buffet plate and Target find at a time. 💛 #charleston #charlestonsc #fallincharleston #charlestoncontentcreator
