This year has been a DOOZY so much going on between moving multiple times, family business, parenting a toddler while pregnant. This pregnancy was definitely different than my first - I was super nauseous for a lot longer and couldn’t just nap it off like my first pregnancy since I have a 3 foot tall mini me to watch over. However, physically I overall felt SO much better this pregnancy - moving a lot more, even worked out almost until the end. Maybe it’s because I knew what to expect more this time or was more calm but I felt like baby boy was also happy and content inside so I wasn’t as anxious in that sense. With my first pregnancy I gained about 60-62lbs 🤐 this pregnancy I gained just shy of 25lbs. I attempted a VBAC because all of my numbers were looking so good and I was a good candidate, but as the time came I got up to 6 cm dilated and we needed to do an emergency C-section ( same as with my daughter three years ago ). While it’s not the birth outcome that I plan for I’m grateful for the doctors for making the decision that they did to keep baby boy and I healthy and I’m honestly so impressed by how fast the recovery has been this go around and how great I feel 2 weeks after such an intense surgery. In four weeks from now, I go to the doctor to get cleared to work out and I’m excited to get back into a routine 🙂↔️🤘🏽 if anyone has any pelvic floor workouts or tips I’m all ears! #csection #csectionrecovery #csectionmom #postpartum #mumsoftiktok

Let me just start off by saying ; No matter how many c- sections you have , the pain NEVER gets easier ! Today was day 3 of my c section recovery & boy when I tell you it was ROUGH 🥹 , my incision was burning & it literally just felt like my insides were being ripped apart . Life can come at you Fast & So Unexpected ✨ On November 9th I was sitting at home watching a movie with my mom & Kids when suddenly I started having these excruciating , radiating back pains . It took my breath away . I immediately went to the Hospital . Upon Arriving they placed me on monitors & thought they had come to the conclusion of it being my sciatica that was causing the pain ….. however, upon further inspection from a good nurse she stated my daughters heart rate kept doing dips & it was very concerning . I was admitted. Upon Further Evaluation they told me that seeing as though I was early full term ( 35 weeks ) with an ORIGINAL due date of December 11th , they wanted to do an emergency c section due to the fact her heart rate kept dropping & her umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck . I was so scared . I wasn’t expecting any of this at all . I started to freak out . Thank God for the Most Supportive , Loving , Patient & Caring Partner that I have , he made me feel so much better . Literally hours later ….. November 10th at 2:33 in the afternoon “ Hope Nicole Turner “ was Born 5lbs 3oz 💕. I fell in love again for the 4th time . God is so good , & I’m so happy I listened to his voice in my head when I had those back pains because I was initially going to just dismiss it as my sciatica .
