I started working out again this week. Not because I suddenly had more time. Not because life got easier. But because I stopped believing my own excuses. I used to love working out. It was my thing, a huge part of my identity, my therapy & my peace. Then I had kids. One… then two… then three… and then four. And somewhere between diapers, making meals from scratch, homeschooling and sleepless nights, I forgot what it felt like to do something just for me. For a long time, I told myself I’d start again “when things slowed down.” But with four kids.. they never really do, do they? So this week, I started. It wasn’t perfect. It wasn’t long. But it was mine. Because I want my kids to grow up seeing their mom take care of herself. I want them to know that it’s okay to start over or start again. That you can love your family deeply and still do something for yourself too. No more waiting for the “right time.” This is it. ❤️
