Date Night at the Dogon DC was an amazing experience. The food was sensational and I can’t stop thinking about everything I ate. I haven’t said that in a very long time about a restaurant in the DMV. I mean every word when I tell you, please don’t hesitate to make your reservation. Make sure you bring your wallet because you will spend 250+ dollars if you really want to experience the menu. I enjoyed every single item and I’m not exaggerating. The creativity behind the menu was amazing. How Chef Kwame brought different flavors together to truly bring excitement to your body and have flavors dancing all over your tongue was absolutely mind blowing! Every guest from my left to my right, we’re expressing how amazing the food was loud and proud! I can truly say this date night was one for the books and I will be back VERY SOON! I need that rum cake in my lifeeee!!! Growing up in NY we went apple picking every year- it was a school field trip, Sunday school outing, and my dad would also take us. It didn't dawn on me until Saturday that the five children we spent the weekend with had never experienced Apple picking. So off to the orchard we went, six kids in tow! @docwaterscidery @butlersorchard in Germantown, MD has the scenery, the apples, and the treats. And...the view is breathtaking! We paid based on the size bags we wanted, the staff was friendly and the orchards were easy to pick from. It was a wonderful time! What's your favorite activity (now or when you were a kid) in fall?
