I’m not very good at maintaining friendships. I had kids before the rest of my friends and moved continents after the first one was born so not many of my friendships have survived that. Not everyone understood my change in priorities and lack of time, and I didn’t realize how depressed I was during my first years of motherhood/living in a new country.
