From my dad: My name is Dr. Duane Harvey, and I was born in Savannah-La-Mar, Westmoreland, Jamaica. I am an engineer by trade, now living in the United States, and have maintained a deep connection with relatives and friends of my hometown of Petersfield, Westmoreland, Jamaica. I am also a former student of Mannings High School in Savannah-La-Mar in Westmoreland. Recently, Hurricane Melissa devastated our beloved parish of Westmoreland. In an effort to significantly help the people of Savannah-La-Mar and surrounding areas rebuild and return to a strong community, 100% of the proceeds raised will be used for this purpose. In addition, we seek to procure corporate matching funds to further strengthen our rebuilding capability. We expect to work with government and community leaders, as well as aid organizations, to effectively use and distribute financial resources to maximize our impact. Our goal is to use all funds to aid in rebuild homes and provide food and supplies .
