I’m so obsessed with liquid microneedling, a Korean skincare treatment that uses microspears (aka spicules, made from microscopic sea sponges!). Similar to laser and traditional microneedling (both which I’ve tried and loved), these little spiky things puncture your skin to promote collagen production (such an oversimplification, I know). In the in-office @Beyond Miracles treatment, there are 50,000 spicules! I honestly had no idea what to expect. And not gonna lie, when @studiovaruni started rubbing the spiky cream into my skin, it hurt. The pain only lasts for a few minutes but it’s intense (imagine little glass shards). There’s very little downtime. My skin was a little red and hot right after (the @Mixsoon US Official modeling mask helped to soothe it). I’m 3 days post-treatment and wow, I’m so impressed with how plump and glowy my skin looks.
