What do we think jewelery friends? Please chime in! The cost of gold is crazy, we all know this! So I really think that mixed metals and chunky silver is really going to have a moment over this next year! I think the mixed metals will have more of a moment especially with collectors like me who love stacking and wear more jewelry on a daily basis than the average person! I think that incorporating silver pieces to mix in with the gold as well as curating two tone pieces will be a way for people like me to continue to collect but in a more financially sustainable way. (Who else is in this boat with me? 🙋🏻♀️) If you’ve been following for a bit you’ll see in my posts that I’ve been adding a few silver pieces to my rotation this year and I’m re-integrating silver into my daily stacks because I know that next year I will definitly be leaning into more mixed metals to balance out the insane cost of gold right now. My second prediction is that chunky, heavy sterling silver or maximalist layering with sterling silver is really going to have its moment. The price of silver is also rising and although it’s nowhere near where the price of gold is, i think people are going to want to get the best bang for their buck and lean into purchacing weightier, more substantial silver pieces either through statement jewelry or via layering. Im so glad that I build up my collection of gold when I did because now I feel like I have a decent collection of everyday gold pieces and next year focusing on more two toned pieces and silver doesn’t feel like such a big hit. I have always loved mixed metals and for the first 2 decades of my life I only wore silver so I obviously love that too. The last several years I have been building my gold collection from scratch so I wasn’t buying any silver during that time but I am actually so excited to rediscover my style in silver and curate visually interesting mixed metals stacks for next year onward! 💃🏻 #jewelry #jewelrytiktok #gold #foryoupage
