I’m looking for signals such as if you skin goes sallow in a warm tone or if the deep cool shades cast shadows over your face. You might need to watch this a few times before you see it but… When I’m draped in black, your eye is drawn to the black colour because it’s too overpowering for me. But as I transition from black to the warm brown (in my Spring palette), your eye will change its focus to *me* instead of the colour. You should be wearing the colour NOT the colour wearing you. It’s not a dramatic change from the black to the brown but the latter definitely lifts me, makes me look less dull and the slight shadowing under my chin disappears ✨ Can you see it? I hate to break it to you but unless you fall into the ‘Winter’ season and suit cool, clear and bright colours, black won’t be the best colour mascara for you. In fact, brown might be a better choice. For some reason (unbeknown to me), I rarely find my clients use brown mascara and there’s much less choice in the shops to choose from. But for springs (like me!) or summers or autumns who suit more muted tones, brown is a much better choice when choosing a mascara. It’ll enhance your features and won’t create an overpowering or OTT look. My current favourite brown mascaras are from @Beauty Pie + I’ve just purchased @maccosmetics Mac Stack in a gorgeous chestnut brown.
