The perfect Valentine’s Day recipe! ❤️🍰🧸😍 Red Velvet Bundt Cake: Dry Ingredients * 2½ cups all-purpose flour * 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder * 1 tsp baking soda * 1 tsp salt * 2 tbsp red food coloring Wet Ingredients * ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted and cooled • ½ cup vegetable or canola oil • 2 cups granulated sugar • 2 large eggs • 1 cup Optional Add-ins • ¾-1 cup mini chocolate chips, tossed in 1 tbsp flour Cream Cheese Frosting * 8 oz cream cheese, softened * ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened * 3½-4 cups powdered sugar, sifted * 1½ tsp vanilla extract * Pinch of salt * 1-3 tbsp milk (if needed to thin) Instructions 1. Prep Pan and Oven:
Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease and flour 10-12 cup Bundt pan thoroughly. 2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and red food coloring. Toss mini chocolate chips with 1 tbsp flour if using. 3. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk melted butter + oil + sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing gently. Add buttermilk, 2 tsp vanilla, and vinegar; mix until just combined. 4. Combine Batter: Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined. Gently fold in chocolate chips. 5.Bake:
Pour batter into prepared Bundt pan and smooth the top. Bake 60-70 minutes (start checking at 55 min).
Toothpick should come out clean or with a few crumbs. 6.Cool:
