✨ Happy Due Date, Baby Boone ✨ Today, October 19th, was the day you were supposed to arrive — but you had other plans, coming into the world early on September 15th and completely changing our hearts forever. 💙 When we first learned about your diagnosis of Trisomy 21, the very first thing we were told was that termination was still an option… or adoption… no judgment. Those words broke us. Not because of your diagnosis, but because the world so quickly wanted to give up on you before even meeting you. About 67–90% of pregnancies with a prenatal T21 diagnosis end in termination, and that statistic still makes my heart ache. Because now that we know you — your smile, your strength, your light — we can’t imagine ever choosing a world without you in it. We are so thankful God chose us to be your parents. Happy due date, our sweet Boone. You were meant for us all along. 💙💛
