Replying to @NicoleMercedes_ on YT part 9 of the Wicked Waters DIY series brings jellyfish! I felt like the ceiling needed some extra pops of color so i decided to make a variety of jellyfish. One set of jellies are made from plastic water bottles and hot glue. I used cold water bath to cool down strings of hot glue to create the stinging tentacles of the jellyfish! Then hot glued the pieces to the bottles. I drilled two holes in the tops and painted each jelly with glow in the dark paint. For the larger Jelly fish, all of the materials came from the @Dollar Tree. Plastic bowls, mesh, mesh tubing, and pipe cleaners. They look even better in the dark (which you’ll see 🔜). Replying to @NicoleMercedes_ on YT Part 8 of this DIY series brings us coral reefs. These reefs were easy to make but took some time to create all of the different types of coral pieces i wanted. I used pool noodles, floral wire, hot glue, bendy straws, tissue paper, water bottles, and mesh to create the coral. Replying to @NicoleMercedes_ on YT part 7 brings the start of our underwater grotto! The first things that i wanted to tackle for this project were the coral rock wall and the ceiling. The rock wall is butcher paper that i got from Lowe’s. The green spider webbing i got from the @Dollar Tree along with the green plastic table cloth as well. The spray foam was also from Lowe’s. This porch took dayssss to finalize with all the little details. Can’t wait for you guys to see the final product. This definitely took me longer than i thought it would. 😩 I made 11 different creatures at various sizes so some things took longer to dry than others. But I’m really happy with what i did since i haven’t even attempted this art project since elementary school lol. And has the rum belly to show for it. This diy was made from some recycled materials and a few Amazon purchases. The most expensive thing for this project will be the fountain pump you need to circulate the water through the prop. Overall, it was not a bad Halloween prior to make. Most of the materials i already had from last year which made it really cost affective. The tall tentacle is made from three pool noodles, gorilla tape, and acrylic paint. The base of the other tentacles are flex drains. I used acrylic tape to connect the suction cups to all the tentacles. Simple DIY Ornament Center piece that’s beautiful and festive. 🎅🏾🎄You can use what you have in the house or go to the dollar store/ Hobby lobby for a few items. Low cost, but make it fashionable! 1. Grab a clear vase, add an empty paper towel roll in the center 2. Use white sand/ stones/ and old epson salt to look like snow (fill for about 2/3 inches. Depending on the size of your vase) 3. Fill the vase with small ornaments around the roll (these are from the dollar store) 4.
