The trust that you put in God honors Him much and draws down great graces. You can choose to trust Him and make your home no matter how big or small a place where His presence dwells. I’ve cried more tears than I can count the last 5 days as we packed up and headed to a much smaller home for a very short season while He prepares a place that we can’t see yet. The not knowing the plan while being in something so temporary is hard. I’ve questioned what went wrong, what we did, how it happened… but the truth is that this was His plan. We know it. This is obedience and trusting who He is. He has something that we cant see yet and He has a purpose for this specific season too. As children of God, our job isn’t to question what He is doing, it’s to be obedient and trust Him even when it doesn’t make sense. So here’s to trusting when it doesn’t make sense. Not because everything in life looks perfect right now, but because I know the character of my God. I know who He is. I can look back and see His hand in every good and every broken season and how He used each of them for a purpose. Each moment has a purpose and is a part of a plan that we don’t always see. Mama- I know it can feel scary to be raising children in this generation. As the world gets dark, it’s easy to let the fear set in- but we must keep our eyes set on the things above. God knew what He was doing when He made your child and He has a purpose for your child in this generation. I can’t tell you the number of times I as a parent have been encouraged through my child’s faith. My three year old who one day stopped crying going to class because he chose to pray instead. Now, every day he prays going into his children’s church class and walks out at the end saying “I didn’t cry Mommy because GOD MADE ME BRAVE.” Our children, who already at the age of three know how to give God the glory and credit and see His hand in their lives. This generation… they are a force to be reckoned with for the kingdom of God. So rise up, Mama.
