Let me prefaced this by saying, if you are in your farmhouse era that is totally fine. However, a few months ago, I was over the look of my laundry room and wanted to transform this space. Here are some tips to consider if you are changing from a farmhouse style to a more modern decor style: 1. Ditch the word signs- laundry, fluff and dry 2. Use a moody paint color- I'm a sucker for a dark green 😉 3. Change out light fixture & hardware- ex. cage look to a more sleek, traditional look and antique brass is my favorite for hardware 4. Add vintage art- thrift stores and Etsy has a great selection 5. Well it's been a few months since we got our new countertops and hubby finished the backsplash right before Christmas, so I figured it was time to show you. We got quartz countertops, Portmore backsplash from @tilebar , new sink with faucet and changed out the hardware to champagne bronze. I would love to get all new appliances, but that's going to have to wait a while. We still need to get 2 new light fixtures, but I'm so obsessed with how it turned out! Our kitchen may not be big with an oven hood or a big island, but it's about embracing what you have.
