I’ve seen all kinds of DIY arched openings and usually they involve some precise cutting of circles and drywall magic. I found these pre-made drywall arches that come in all sizes to accommodate all shapes of openings and curves and are made to fit 2x6” or 2x4” framing. No need to try to nicely finish off a curved piece of drywall! Something tells me I’m onto something good!! Have you seen these before? We opted to create little “corbels” out of these arches using additional framing but they are made to easily blend in with drywall if you want a smooth curve.
