Two years ago, a few months after my son passed away, my relationship fell apart, and I put my things in storage thinking I’d be back in a couple weeks. Little did I know I was about to go on a wild healing journey, traveling for work, hotel to hotel, living out of a suitcase, and trying to find myself again. Today I came back to close that same storage unit for the last time. It was nostalgic, but this time I’m not lost.
