I’ve been on my fitness journey for over 2 decades and the one lesson I wish I’d learned sooner is…. Your mindset and actions are everything. You can have the perfect ‘diet’ or program made specifically for YOU but if your stuck with an all or nothing mindset with self sabotaging behaviors — your constantly going to be stopping and starting over. The holidays used to be a weak spot for me. I had goals of ‘ending the year strong’ but when I was put in a position to align my actions with my goals, I’d automatically default to what old me would do: mindlessly eat, view the day as ‘ruined’, make a plan to start over the next day just to repeat the same cycle.
