Twisted Knot Dinner Rolls — Creamy, buttery, and twisted into comfort — these are my take on the 1-hour soft dinner rolls recipe (with a fun twist!) inspired by @gimmesomeoven Ingredients: Bread 1 cup water 2 Tbsp melted butter ½ cup milk 2 Tbsp honey 1 Tbsp active dry yeast 3½ to 4 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp fine sea salt Extra melted butter for brushing on top Butter Compound: 2 sticks butter (softened) 1 tbsp parsley 1 tbsp oregano 1 tsp garlic 1. Pre-heat oven to 400°F. 2. And a bowl of melted butter, add water, milk and honey. Stir to combined and heat in microwave for about a minute until warm to touch but not hot. Around 110 degrees. 3. Pour the butter mixture into a standing mixer. Add yeast, and combine with fork and let it foam for 5 minutes. 4. Add 3&1/2 cups flour + salt, mix/knead and dough pulls from bowl. If there is still sticky, add another half cup of flour. 5. Into an oiled bowl,et dough rise for 15 mins (covered) 6. While dough is rising, prepare butter compound. 6. On a floured surface, roll dough into rectangle. And spread butter compound all over. Fold in sides and cut 1 inch sections. Shape each piece by rolling into a rope and tying a simple knot (or twist into your favourite knot shape). 7. Place into the baking sheet, cover, let rise 15-20 mins. 8. Bake 15 mins until golden. 9. Brush with extra melted butter. Serve These knotty little bundles are soft, buttery & ready in just one hour.
