Here’s what the awesome moms planned for our girls! Of course the kids are fierce on the ice, but off ice gratitude and recognizing eachothers strengths is so important. I’m so grateful to the special moms who out this together during our tournament! Each girl was given a name of another girl in the team - not like a BFF who they are with off ice all the time. They were instructed to watch them during the week at practice and pay attention to their greatness. Then before our big feast, write a letter to the girl with what they notice about them that maybe they don’t see in themselves. The girls read them to eachother and it was so cool to see them bond in a way that brought everyone together and built confidence.
