Our 3 tips when cutting crown moulding. We have made many mistakes while cutting crown and these are the tips we have learned through trial and error that have helped us make accurate cuts. 1. Painters tape on your saw..this allows you to draw a straight line and you can line your crown on this every time to ensure you cut at the same angle for each piece. 2. Cut two templates that will have all 4 cuts you will be making. Inside left, inside right, outside left and outside right. You can use these as a guide for each cut once you measure and it’s time to cut your real piece of crown..we have an entire video on this step by step 3. Cut your crown upside down, crown molding sits at an angle..one edge against the wall, one edge against the ceiling so on the saw, you need to replicate that same angle. The easiest way to do that is to flip the molding upside down. Let us know if you have questions! #walltrim #crownmoulding #walltrim
