in the spirit of Opt Outside, @REI hosted over 100 of us from Out and About Walk Club on Saturday for a giveaway and s’mores walk event around Seattle Center and South Lake Union and it was so lovely to get outside together! you’ve probably heard of “Opt Outside,” but do you know how it started? a decade ago, REI closed their doors on Black Friday to encourage their staff to get outside rather than participate in the typical rush of holiday shopping after Thanksgiving. since then, millions have taken part in this movement by sharing how they #optoutside using the hashtag. so how are you going to #optoutside this Friday? #ad #reipartner #seattle
