Here’s how we get it done ⬇️ 1. Setting everything out before I leave for daycare pickup. Jammies, pull ups, diapers, everything is right where we need it so we don’t have to run all over 2. Dinner is easy. Usually involves some leftovers, pasta or even a CFA run. Not trying to win any culinary awards these nights. 3. Some extra fun goes a long way. Lining up their toys by the bath, putting their stuffies on silly spots helps buy me some extra time these nights. 4. After dinner we all do a quick clean up - usually baby is strapped onto me or in her seat. The last thing I want to do after they’re all down is start cleaning. 5. We make the “night night choo choo train” as we go through the put down process. First stop, bath, then Jammie’s and brush teeth, then we put baby sister down. Each kiddo picks a role (conductor, caboose) and they love doing the “chugga chugga choo chooooo” all over the house. 6. I always expect it to take longer than usual. That is okay and it only gets easier!!! Any other tips for solo parenting days??? motherhood • moms • mom life • toddlers • bedtime routine • simple systems to make life run smoother • bedtime with kids
