I guess the tip here is just leftovers? Cook an extra recipe or just double up on whatever you’re making! Sometimes I’ll also make pasta or meal components (rice, beans) so the next day is easier. The days my husband picks up our kids are usually my cooking days. And then the days he’s in the office and I’m solo I just have to reheat and serve - so much easier when you’re this outnumbered 🙃 For picking the recipes obviously some things keep better than others so I always keep that in mind for what we eat first. I have tried true meal prepping before but I just don’t want to give up several hours on a weekend to do that - it’s our family time that we already get so little of.
