Replying to @kylie_main_14 You only need enough sourdough starter for the bread you’re going to make. Otherwise you can maintain a very small amount of starter so you don’t waste flour. Bulking it up by using a 1-2-2 ratio (or whatever ratio is appropriate for the amount of sourdough bread you want to make) is all you need to do. #sourdough #sourdoughstarter #sourdoughbread #sourdoughbreadbaking
