In my first year of motherhood, I put myself on the back burner and worked on being a good mom and on enjoying this new stage of life. I gave myself a lot of grace and many more excuses not to move my body every day because of the baby, pumping, laundry, dishes, the list goes on, even if it was just for 10 minutes. Movement, of any form, became a priority for me this year. I quickly realized that, with an active toddler, to give myself time, I’d have to wake up before my child. Being a morning person, I'm working towards a 6 am wake-up call (I’m up at 6:30 right now). But I’m feeling great and hopefully working towards loving my body again. #postpartumfitnessjourney
