Why you should choose the “Venice of France” over Lake Como 👇🏻 •it felt less crowded and more authentic-less trinket shops and menus with pictures of cheeseburgers & pizza •while Lake Como is upscale & elegant, this town is more medieval with canals, pastel houses & cobblestone streets •the lake is CRYSTAL clear, I’d much rather swim here than Como •We found Lake Como to be fancier and more expensive which isn’t our vibe as budget travelers Honestly, both places are absolutely gorgeous and have their own pros and cons but if I could only choose one of these destinations it would be Annecy by a long shot! #europetrip #europeantravel #annecyfrance #outdoorsytravel #travelinspo
