Hi! I'm Payton, a cosmetic chemist, and these days, the beauty space is a crazy (but amazing) place that's unfortunately full of misinformation and lack of education. I realized early on that my passion was bridging the gap between product/ingredient knowledge and consumer understanding to help people make more educated and empowered decisions about their products and may work for them. I have always loved reviewing makeup/ skincare and making videos to share, here on this page, I do just that! I love sharing science-backed reviews and reccomendations, discussing what different ingredients are/do, and breaking down different marketing trends and what they really mean, all to help you feel more confident in your routine. My degree is in Cosmetic Science and Formulation Design with a pharmaceutical background, and I have a few years of experience working in the industry across marketing, product development, and science education. I'm currently pursuing my Masters in Cosmetic science and I can't wait to continue my understanding of the industry and be able to better communicate and make this knowledge more accessible!
