Nasolabial fold week is a popular week because there’s a lot going on around the nose and you can accumulate excess fluid there. Many things can impact this: repetitive motion can contribute to wrinkling, tightness in the masseter can push against this area, creating deeper wrinkles, inflammation due to allergies, can cause an additional histamine response, resulting in more fluid here, etc. If you have issues with nasolabial folds, manual lymphatic drainage can also be helpful in reducing that excess accumulation of fluids. Check out my manual lymphatic drainage reel under my favorites under the MLD tab. check out the cheek section 2 weeks ago. There are a lot of cheek exercise exercises that also help with nasolabial folds. #fasciastretching #jacksonvilleflorida #neptunebeach #holistichealthcoach #fasciarelease #facelift #fasciasmoothing #manuallymphaticdrainage #faceexercise #faceroutine
I was hesitant for years because of my severe allergies and sensitive skin. The thought always intimidated me. After getting them done and experiencing them for the first time I can honestly say I’m obsessed. ✨Things I recommend✨ >Make sure you go to an experienced lash tech who knows what they are doing and have years of experience. Do your research! Dont let just anyone play in your eyes girl!! lol Lash tech that slayed my eyes @Esthetics With Vanessa >Follow your lash techs instructions for aftercare to the T!! >Wash them every other day especially if your someone like me who has allergies & use the brush spooly to brush and fluff your lashes. > If your someone who suffers with severe allergies I say give it a shot and try em out for yourself and don’t listen to others. You truly won’t know if you like them till you yourself are in that lash bed getting them done 🫶🏻 #lashesoftiktok #lashextensions #firsttimelashes #fyp #explore

✨ Did you know that October is Eczema Awareness Month? In the United States, 31 million people have eczema, yet this condition remains widely misunderstood. Eczema is not contagious and is more than just a skin condition. Those who suffer from it are often more likely to experience food allergies, asthma, depression, and anxiety. Eczema also affects everyone differently. Over seven years ago, I started experiencing a rash on my face. It began on the side of my right cheek and gradually spread down my chin, around the left side of my face, and between my brows. It was horrifying, and I didn’t understand how it had developed. The only conclusion I could draw was that I was overusing products. At that time, I was using Retin-A, doing at-home peels, and exfoliating frequently, which I believe was my skin's way of saying, “STOP!” Fast forward to 2020, when my need for makeup became minimal (hello pandemic). Skincare was always a crucial part of my routine, and while I still applied makeup, it wasn’t an everyday practice. Sometimes, it served as a way to cope during those uncertain times. Before that year, I had gone through countless tests and experiments to identify the cause of my skin issues, but, to my dismay, I never found a definitive answer. If there was one positive thing that came out of that year, it was that my skin began to clear up due to the simplified routine I adopted. Many of the products I used during that time have remained staples in my routine to this day! They include @Tower 28 Beauty SOS Spray, @Saint Jane Luxury Beauty Serum, @CV Skinlabs Moisture Cream, and @Province Apothecary Eczema Balm. Everyone’s skin is different, but these products helped me through some of my toughest times. I’m always aware and cautious when trying new products. Reading labels and ingredients has become a habitual part of my routine. While I enjoy trying out the latest and greatest, I always perform a skin patch test and make sure to listen to my skin. Thank you for allowing me to share my personal story with you. Have a wonderful rest of your day! @National Eczema Association #focusoneczema #eczemaawareness #eam #eczema
