This is the real & raw emotions of finding out you’re pregnant after way too many negative tests & getting your hopes up. The roller coaster of emotions, anxiety & pure gas lighting to myself that I was seeing things. I still remember these emotions to my core of this day. I couldn’t stop crying (of happiness but also because I couldn’t believe it was real). My husband came home literally a minute after I got the result of my second test to confirm. I was a nervous, emotional wreck freaking out— i tried to record his reaction but before he barely even got through the front door I lost it and bawled my eyes out to tell him lol. There is so much more I can say of our journey over the last 2 years, but I wanted to leave it here with a positive one. TTC, infertility, endometriosis causes so much pain, anxiety and anger. You truly don’t understand it unless you’ve experienced it yourself. So many people likely assume the cliche “conceived on your honeymoon” and you always hear the “just relax”, “just take a vacation”. (Which PLEASE do not ever say these things to anyone). & it has aways frustrated me because we’ve done all of the above before, we’ve taken vacations, we’ve tried the “not thinking about it”. Please remember we did many medical interventions to get our baby— surgery, medication, testing, etc. The only way I was able to cope with the process- trusting in God and loads of therapy 🤍🙏🏼 This is just a part of our story. I have been taking a much needed break from social media. The need to post every single day and the anxiety of how many likes and views my videos would get was becoming so overwhelming and just weighing me down tremendously. Trying to make a living from social media just isn’t worth it to me considering how much time it takes away from the people around me and how corrupt and evil the internet truly is. This sound is exactly what I needed to hear to confirm that my choice to stop focusing so much on social media is the right thing to do. I don’t need validation from others, I need a relationship with the Lord. I need to be a present wife and mom. Replying to @Isabella I am so sorry this took me forever, and that it’s so long! I figured this was the best way to explain my symptoms. One thing I forgot to add: I also had a weird burning sensation around the outsides of my chest/ribs (not the middle, but the outside). Finally… listen to your body!! I was told multiple times that it was just anxiety/panic attacks and was dismissed. Advocate for yourself if you feel like something is wrong! ✨ Did you know that October is Eczema Awareness Month? In the United States, 31 million people have eczema, yet this condition remains widely misunderstood. Eczema is not contagious and is more than just a skin condition. Those who suffer from it are often more likely to experience food allergies, asthma, depression, and anxiety. Eczema also affects everyone differently. Over seven years ago, I started experiencing a rash on my face. It began on the side of my right cheek and gradually spread down my chin, around the left side of my face, and between my brows. It was horrifying, and I didn’t understand how it had developed. The only conclusion I could draw was that I was overusing products.
