Donât complicate it! Homemade cashew milk for diversity because this nutritionist usually drinks soy milk. Diversity ensures we get lots of different nutrients, plus it helps with gut health. So many benefits to keeping raw cashews on hand. No more running out to the store to buy milk when itâs pouring rain and youâre cozy at home. Itâs affordable in todayâs economy and uses less packaging waste. 𼳠Itâs so easy, creamy and customizable. With me getting sick recently, Iâm being extra cautious so Iâd soak cashews overnight in the fridge. 1. Soak 1 cup cashews overnight in water 2. Rinse well 3. Add to high powered blender with filtered water 4. I add true cinnamon and a pinch of salt 5. Option to add a couple dates for sweetness Blend well and thatâs it! I made a yummy green smoothie on a clear Fall day with lots of diversity, veggies and greens for energy. I personally donât make iced smoothies in the cooler months. GUT LOVING GREEN SMOOTHIE - banana - sliced frozen zucchini - a few frozen purple cauliflower florets - coconut water/water - scoop of coconut kefir - a huge handful of well washed kale - small knob of ginger - flax (whole) and chia (from fridge!) - plant protein (I used @ora.organic here, code Jordan for a discount) SAVE & MAKE!!
